Today we meet Milan, a true all-rounder and one of the first employees. From receiving to shipping, he guards the quality as well as the overview, with an eye for detail and a head full of knowledge.

What do you do at Circlewise and what do you like best about it?
"Officially I am 'Value Creator', but in reality I wear several hats. I manage our receiving and registration hall, pack orders and make sure what goes to the customer is of the highest quality. I check, sort and provide structure. Most fun? Being allowed to be critical. That's what makes us better. And besides: having fun with hardware, from antique computers to brand new smartphones."

What does your average workday look like?
"The day starts with packing orders. Then I dive into the receiving hall to sort, register and prepare incoming goods. Sometimes I process them further, sometimes they go on to recycling or data destruction. No day is the same."

What skills do you need to do your job?
"Technical understanding, especially in old hardware. Understanding what customers deliver and being able to process it quickly is essential. You have to understand Windows and its software and be able to communicate well. And of course: get to work. Don't be afraid of a little work."

How does your work make a positive impact?
"I see it in the appreciation, but also in the results. Our quality has gone up, which led to more orders. This not only helps the company, but also ensures that fewer devices are thrown away. In addition, I have helped bring more structure to our entire process."

What do you think of the work atmosphere at Circlewise?
"Top. From the beginning it was a small team with people who work hard and have a great sense of humor. Problems are immediately addressed and solved together. Ideas are taken seriously and that gives energy."

What do you do to totally recharge in your free time?
"I'm an Internet person. A lot of gaming, getting lost in obscure corners full of knowledge about history, science, technology ... you name it. And I like to cook. I also like to invent recipes and share them with others."

What is the most challenging part of your job?
"Sometimes it is quite challenging when there is a lot going on at once. Then it is important to keep a good overview and to be able to switch flexibly between different tasks. It's precisely at times like that that you notice how strong we are as a team and how quickly we find solutions together."

What would you like to give future colleagues?
"Team spirit is key. Be yourself, communicate well and work in a structured way. That will get you very far."

What three words best describe you?
"Three words? Tricky. I prefer to call myself a walking encyclopedia of worthless information."

What did you want to be as a child?
"Helicopter pilot...And I secretly still want to!"
